About Us
Meet Maria and Emanuela
At La Dolce Vita Travel Company, we’re two sisters on a mission to help families create unforgettable memories around the world.
Inspired by the Italian idea of ‘la dolce vita’ —the sweet life — we believe that travel should be joyful, meaningful and fun for everyone!
Our parents are from Venosa in Southern Italy, a small town in the “ankle” of the Italian boot. We have visited this second home annually since our childhood — now bringing our own husbands and children in tow with us. Emanuela took a page from “Eat, Pray, Love” in her 20s and lived outside of Milan for two years. While Italy will always be numero uno in our hearts, we have had fun adventures in Denmark, England, France, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Beyond Europe, we have experience in Mexico, the Caribbean, Montreal and around the United States.
Having grown up in Orlando, Florida — the place where the world vacations! — we’ve experienced the theme parks, beaches and hidden gems firsthand, and love helping others enjoy them too.
Traveling with our maturing mother and extended family members as well as our young daughters, we have done and seen it all when it comes to planning memorable trips and navigating the ins and outs of travel with multi-generational groups.
